The context and challenge that guided the redesign of the Live! Run XP landing page.

The context and challenge that guided the redesign of the Live! Run XP landing page.

Context

Live! Run XP is a running circuit connected to the Live! , a Brazilian sportswear brand. The landing page needed to help users understand event details before registering.

Challenge

Important information such as dates, distances, kits, prices and registration details was not visible enough in the main page flow, creating friction before sign-up.

Current page analysis

Based on the patterns identified in the competitor analysis, I reviewed both the main Live! Run XP landing page and the external registration page users reach after clicking the only CTA available on the page, the “Inscreva-se” button.

After clicking this CTA, users are redirected to an external Live! Experience page to continue the registration process. This means that important decision-support information, such as kit options, prices and registration details, is accessed outside the main landing page, creating a fragmented journey between event discovery and registration.

The main opportunity was to bring more essential information into the landing page itself, improving content hierarchy, information visibility and the continuity of the registration flow.

Main landing page

The main landing page introduces the event, but does not concentrate enough relevant and timely decision-support information before users are invited to register.

1
Low immediate identification

The hero section does not clearly show key event details, such as date and race distances, making the event harder to understand at first glance.

2
Missing decision-support information

Some key information needed before registration, such as kit details, prices and registration options, is only available after users are redirected.

3
Kits lack visual emphasis

The kits are shown in a carousel and appear with limited visual prominence, making it harder to compare options and understand their value.

4
Limited CTA guidance

The page relies on a single registration CTA in the hero, before users have enough information to support their decision.

External registration flow

After clicking the registration CTA, users are redirected to App Live! Experience, where the process continues across visually different pages and multiple steps.

1
Fragmented journey

Users are redirected away from the landing page and need to go through multiple steps before reaching the actual sign-up flow.

2
Visual inconsistency

The external registration page uses a different visual style, which can make the journey feel disconnected from the Live! Run XP landing page.

3
Repeated information

Some information already shown on the landing page appears again in the external flow, adding redundancy before registration.

4
Prices are hard to associate with kits

Kit prices appear separated from the corresponding images, forcing users to move up and down the page to compare each option.
